Time to Vote – 2025 Fundraiser Shirt Design

This year marks the 30th anniversary of 26th MEU’s Mediterranean Deployment LF6F-3-95 which included participating in Operation Bright Star, Operation Deny Flight, NATO IFOR support during Operations Joint/Decisive Endeavor, TRAP Team Sparrowhawk and other unforgettable memories. With that being said, I decided against creating a design honoring that Charlie Foxtrot… I couldn’t think of a design to summarize those 6 months. So what did I create?

Keeping the tradition, I made two designs that are up for vote and your input decides which one makes it onto the shirts and which one gets the honorable koozie treatment. Both designs reflect the Texas spirit and one symbolizes the Bastards better than the other in my opinion.

Voting is open until April 30, 2025 and this year we’ll do something different… the results will be hidden until after voting closes.

Voting Ends April 30, 2025

Your Choices

#1 Texas

The first design, titled “Texas”, features a full-color outline of the Lone Star State filled with assorted icons of Texas and the wild west. With bold lines, rugged texture, and a bit of attitude, this design screams that unmistakable Texas toughness. It’s eye-catching and would make for a standout shirt whether you’re wearing it to the reunion or back home.

#2 Longhorn

The second design, “Longhorn,” brings a classic, gritty aesthetic to the table with a longhorn skull silhouette front and center. Stripped down to the essentials, this design carries the spirit of Texas. It’s not flashy, but it doesn’t need to be. This design speaks for itself with quiet confidence and a nod to old-school toughness. Whether it ends up on the shirt or the koozie, it’s a design that stands tall and proud.

Keep in mind, to make sure the winning design looks good on the various shirt colors that will be offered, the color palette may need to be changed for some shirt colors. It will still look good when I’m done with them though.

Again, the winning design goes on the fundraiser shirt, while the runner-up will be featured on can koozies that I give away every year.

Fundraiser shirt sales will kick off later in May, so make sure your voice is heard now!
