Troy came to Weapons platoon as a Mortarman (0341) after being stationed in Keflavík, Iceland and was one of the original Marines attending these reunions in 2012 and again in 2016 until a shit show, a well-seasoned steak, about $20 and various other issues prevented him from returning. He would sporadically call one of us on the phone to catch up.

Despite Manning passing in 2021, we didn’t find out until heading to the reunion in 2024 until Keller got curious. We passed the Wild Turkey in his honor.
